Photo of the day: Gb days!
Before the rise of Fort Bonifacio there was good ‘ol Greenbelt providing the underaged an easier way to make takas since it has an assortment of PG and R rated activities all under one roof. When your parents ask, Gb is the perfect disguise to your ulterior motives.Back then clubs like Absinthe and Temple were the Embassy and Cuisine of today. How fast things change huh? Either that or I’ve just grown up and the younger generation has grown up (a little bit too fast in my opinion) with me.
Greenbelt will always remind me of my high school where the not so sober upperclassmen would loiter outside of Kroc and I had to be home before 12. There was Shisha-ing at Bollywood, watching movies with my friends or as shown above just having some plain old wholesome fun!

I can’t imagine being the only child because without my sisters to guide me and keep me in check life would definitely be more confusing. Thankfully I’m pretty close to mine. I don’t give them enough credit for constantly taking care of me (especially since I’m the bunso) and putting up with my sometimes brattyness and bitchyness when I’m at home. Asides from mom and dad, they’re also the only ones who will understand certain things that my friend’s wont, no matter how much I try and explain it to them.

College org parties - been there, done that (alot) so I wasn’t really expecting anything new. But sometimes life has a way of surprising you. I guess it didn’t matter that I wore 3 inch heels that night haha. Although by 2 am my feet expressed their disagremment quite blatantly.
November 21, Saturday. Pre-Shindig.
It’s fun being a girl
The fun starts the moment you elongate the lashes with mascara or apply a rosy fresh coat of blush. Whatever your hair or makeup regime is it’s the pretty-fying before the actual event with pump up music playing in the background that’s another party in itself, especially when you’re with your girl friends!
November 20, Friday. Damian’s birthday.
Whatta blast from the past with so many familiar faces from Reedley, some of which I haven’t seen since I first left back in second year. People from your past have a way of reminding you of who you once were and how far you’ve come into becoming your own “person” since then.
Anton (top right) likes to remind me of how I was once that conservative studious school girl who didn’t really go out. I was still friendly and confident but not in the same way I am now. Today, generally people would probably find that hard to believe. But what they don’t really know is that underneath the glitzy, glamorous and often misleading facade of having an active night life I still AM that girl. Just because I party and drink now and wear short skirts or shorts (hahahaha) doesn’t mean I’m not conservative with my values. If you didn’t know that then you probably don’t know me well enough. I guess that’s what my friends are for right?
November 20, Friday. Starbucks Katipunan.
It felt like Christmas in November courtesy of Starbucks! They were giving away FREE tall beverages from 6-9 pm! And they went around katipunan giving coffee to the security guards and manongs who we see everyday too. Luckily we were in the right place at the right time. On a cool friday evening, free frappes made friday even more awesome. I mean come on, how often does this happen?!
November 20, Friday. UP.

This is what I cut history last Friday for. A last minute picnic and throwing around baseballs for about 1 and a half hours on a field in UP. You can’t plan awesome days like this! You just have to live in the moment and just do it! This view is definitely better than a chalk board. But I promise I won’t cut history tomorrow!
New Rizal Library, Ateneo De Manila University.
Upon entering the new library I was overcome by my senses. The sight of 4 new floors of books to rummage through. The smell of a newly painted building. The sound of students quietly bustling in and out - just as eager to explore as me! Yes I’m a nerd haha. Don’t hold it against me! I’m not so sure about how it tickles the taste buds but out of the 5 it’s definitely the sense of touch that literally sent shivers down my back. THE NEW LIBRARY IS WAAAAY TOO COLD (even with a jacket on!)
