----- Forgive me father for I have shopped. The last... - Fed up with your indigestion.

Fed up with your indigestion.

Uh-oh here goes another blog!

I don't deal in truths. But i've got some stories. Will that do?

Forgive me father for I have shopped. The last time I went shopping was: I don’t even remember!
Asides from gluttony, a sin that almost every Catholic commits during Easter lunch or dinner, I’m also guilty of a little greed too, no thanks to my mini-shopping spree last Black Saturday. Although I enjoy it when I do, unlike your typical girl shopping isn’t something I often indulge in. Yes I do want to look and feel good but I have this theory about spending money on experiences rather than material things. A memory lasts longer than a pair of shoes ever will. And the things you gain from it are priceless.
But after getting happily carried away last Saturday I suddenly remembered how nice it feels to invest in yourself - whether in shoes, clothes, books or makeup (all of which I bought haha.) It’s refreshing to not have to think about anyone else’s wants but yours.
Depending on how much you’re willing to spend I always feels like it’s a risk laying out cash for anything especially for material things that will just take up more space in my room. But even though my wallet may feel emptier I remembered that I personally wont. Because if there’s anyone worthy of the money spent it’s surely ourselves, right? We’re definitely worth the risk.
This shouldn’t be the kind of sin I do penance for!
Picture above is when my block went ukay shopping in Tagaytay last summer!
